We spent some time with kindergarten educators from Norfolk Public Schools this week, exploring the ECE Resource Hub during a Back to School training in collaboration with VKRP.

The Hub was created to make high-quality early childhood resources easier to find, access, and put into practice—and we loved getting to see educators explore it together!

🧐🧐Did you sign up for the STREAMin³ Research Study?

Researchers at the University of Virginia School of Education are seeking private programs that serve children ages 3-5 in at least two classrooms to be part of a research project. The project will examine whether and how the STREAMin³ curriculum model supports teachers’ classroom practices and children’s school readiness skills.

Tucker needs a home! 🐢🏠

Well…at least that’s what Ms. Jazmyn’s class decided!

Last year, her children chose a box from the dramatic play center and transformed it into Tucker’s home. She also keeps multiple versions of Tucker around the classroom so he can come along for outdoor play and wherever else the day takes them.

As you prepare for the school year, these are the little things that can help make your Core Skill Routines feel familiar and meaningful from the start.
