Baker-Butler families and staff β we need you at the county school board meeting today, Thurs May 14th, at 6:30 PM at the county office building (401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville).
Our school is about to hire its third principal in three years. The process is already moving. If we want our community's voice to matter, we need to show up in person, together, before decisions are made.
You do not have to speak. Just being there in numbers sends a message. But if you want to speak, here is how:
π Sign up to speak (3 minutes each):
β’ Online until 2:00 PM today: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfj6aK8UP9SABX3DOWw7I8tcWnoQXYSpmWjJm2vayJq0DoLdA/viewform

Thank you to everyone who attended last night's PTO meeting, both in-person and virtually. We sincerely appreciate the community showing up to support our school!
Last night's meeting is just the first step in sharing our concerns with ACPS, and we want to continue to make sure our voices are heard by Dr. Haas' office, as well as our school board.
Our fantastic Family Co Rep, Christina Ra, put together this important, anonymous questionnaire. Please take the time to fill it out and share it with other BBES families! You can also email our school board rep, Judy Le ([email protected]), and Superintendent Matt Haas ([email protected]).
Please complete the questionnaire by Sunday, May 17th.
