Compleat KiDZ - Charlotte, Baldwin is a pediatric therapy center offering ABA therapy for children from ages 2-8, in-home ABA therapy for children ages 2-12, and physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy from ages 0 -18. Our facility features open peer space for movement and private rooms for focused therapy while our team collaborates with families, educators, and doctors to crea

te well-rounded care plans for each child's specific needs! We know that navigating insurance and payment options can be overwhelming, which is why we accept Medicaid and most major private insurance plans. Our goal is to make therapy accessible to as many families as possible.

School days can include a lot of changes, transitions, and sensory input. Here are a few ways to make the day more predictable and manageable:
• Prepare for changes ahead of time
• Use visual schedules or social narratives
• Break larger tasks into smaller steps
• Build in breaks when needed
• Consider your child’s individual sensory needs

Every child is different, so the strategies that work best will vary. The goal is to provide the support your child needs to participate in the school day!

From visiting the school ahead of time to practicing morning routines and using visual countdowns, small steps can help children feel more comfortable and confident as they head into a new school year.
