Sometimes God will allow you to walk into a situation that exposes the limits of your own strength, not because He has abandoned you, but because He wants you to discover where your dependence truly lies.
We often ask God to remove every obstacle, eliminate every uncertainty, and make the path ahead comfortable. But some seasons are designed to teach a different lesson. They force you to confront what you cannot control, what you cannot fix, and what you cannot overcome through human ability alone.
That does not mean every hardship is directly sent by God. But God can use difficult circumstances to deepen your faith, refine your character, and make His presence more evident when your own strength reaches its limit.
David did not defeat Goliath because the giant was small. He defeated him because David understood that the battle was bigger than his own ability. What looked impossible from a human perspective became an opportunity to demonstrate where his confidence truly rested.
There will be moments when preparation is not enough, connections are not enough, money is not enough, intelligence is not enough, and strength is not enough. Those moments can become deeply formative because they leave you with nowhere to boast except in the God who carried you through.
So when you find yourself facing something you cannot handle alone, do not immediately interpret the difficulty as evidence that God has left you.
Pray. Stand firm. Do what you can. And trust God with what you cannot.
Sometimes the situation you desperately wanted God to remove becomes the very place where you discover just how faithful He is.
