We had the honor of serving 661 patients on our brigade to Honduras this year. Our organization gives UNC Charlotte students the opportunity to shadow doctors and dentists, take vital signs in triage, and work hand in hand with the community to provide basic health care. The GMB crew will continue to bring services to these communities who are in need of our help. We had a great time at the last exec board dinner! Would not have pulled off Honduras without such an energetic, creative, and determined group. We definitely got lost in the service of others this year! :)

The time has come to reflect on our time spent in Honduras. Our team made this spring break brigade one to remember in Manzaragua, Honduras - we were able to treat 661 patients during the three days on our medical brigade; we dug trenches for local water supply, and he installed ventilating stoves in five different homes.
Our hard work, adaptability, and organization helped us achieve these great heights and we could have never done it without the help of the group from Belmont University as well as the GMB staff in Honduras!

Use this link to donate to Global Medical Brigades at UNCC! Our goal is $30,000 - which will cover everyone's contributions to medical supplies that will be purchased in Honduras by the Global Brigades organization.
This is also not included in our own fundraising events on or around campus, but we hope that this will be a huge addition to fundraising efforts.
