This Week in STEM at St. Ann! Kindergarten explored animal life cycles and released their tadpoles, 2nd Grade investigated force, pressure, invention, and chemistry through STEM stations, and 3rd Grade dissected plants while exploring plant life cycles and stages.

Hands-on learning is always in action in STEM at St. Ann!

Learning Science Through Discovery!

Our 4B students are excited to welcome, Charlotte Sweet from Belmont Abbey College as their student teacher!

Charlotte led a hands-on science experiment exploring how energy moves through collisions. Students rotated through different stations, conducted experiments, observed the results, and recorded what they discovered.

We’re grateful to Charlotte for bringing this hands-on experience to our students and giving them an opportunity to explore the science concept of energy in action!

Our Saints are settling into their second week of school!

They are busy learning, making new friends, and getting more comfortable in their routines. It’s been wonderful to see them start to grow in confidence and enjoy all that a new school year has to offer.

What an incredible visit at St. Ann yesterday!

We were excited to welcome Sean Bryan, the "Papal Ninja" from American Ninja Warrior, to St. Ann Catholic School! Sean shared his inspiring story of faith, purpose, perseverance, and using the gifts God has given us to make a difference in the world.

Sean is known for competing on American Ninja Warrior while proudly displaying his Catholic faith. His signature yellow-and-white gear reflects the colors of the papal/Vatican flag, and the papal flag emblem on his shirt and jacket is a visible reminder of his faith and mission.

Sean chose the name “Papal Ninja” as a way of publicly witnessing to his Catholic faith through his Papal Ninja identity and using his platform to share his faith. He also holds a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Salesian Studies and has worked in Catholic lay formation and ministry.

His message to our students was a powerful reminder that being a person of faith can - and should - be part of everything we do. He encouraged our Saints to use their God-given gifts, trust in God’s plan, and live their faith boldly wherever they go.

Thank you, Sean, for spending time with our St. Ann family and inspiring our students to be faith-filled, courageous, and ready to take on whatever God puts in front of them!

This morning, our families filled the school with excitement at Meet the Teacher - visiting new classrooms, meeting new teachers, and reconnecting with familiar faces and friends. The smiles, hugs, and excitement remind us just how special our St. Ann community is.

Our Teachers Are Back & Getting Ready for You!

The halls of St. Ann are coming back to life! Our teachers and staff are officially back on campus and spending these days preparing for another amazing new school year.

From starting our week together at Mass, to Dr. Lincoln Sigwald leading our Lumen Retreat, to our first responders meeting, to collaborating in teacher meetings, and preparing classrooms, we are making the most of every moment before our Saints return!
