Our new school year has officially kicked off, and we’re so excited for all the fun ahead! We’re welcoming new friends to Ballancrest and familiar faces back for another wonderful year of learning, growing, playing, and making memories together. 🖍️🧩📚

This month, we’re jumping into our Measurement & Mapping curriculum! 📏🗺️ Through hands-on activities, our little learners will explore size, distance, direction, and the spaces around them—helping us learn more about each child while building and personalizing our classrooms together!

🍎✨ Hello, August! ✨🍎

We can’t believe it’s already here! This month, we’ll be wrapping up our Ballancrest Summer Series of weekly themes. From exciting adventures and hands-on discoveries to special activities and unforgettable memories, it has been such a fun-filled summer for our little learners! ☀️🌈

We’ll also be soaking up every last moment with our amazing Rising Kindergarteners. Watching them grow, learn, and prepare for their next big adventure has been such a privilege. While we’re going to miss them tremendously, we couldn’t be more proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for each of them. 💙🎓

At the same time, our team is busy preparing for another incredible school year—refreshing classrooms, planning engaging lessons, and getting everything ready to welcome both familiar and new faces through our doors. We are so excited for all that this new season will bring!

Ballancrest Academy is proud to partner with The Latin Corner Charlotte to collect priority relief items for families in Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes earlier this week. Together, we can provide essential supplies and hope to those impacted.

Most Needed Items:
• Non-perishable food & bottled water
• Toiletries & hygiene products
• Diapers & baby wipes
• First aid kits
• Flashlights, batteries & power banks
• New blankets & sleeping bags
• Pet food & supplies

📍 Donations can be dropped off in the foyer at Ballancrest Academy during normal business hours.

☀️ Hello, June! ☀️

We are so excited to welcome a month full of fun, learning, and special celebrations at Ballancrest Academy!

This month, we’ll be celebrating our June birthdays, honoring the amazing fathers and father figures in our lives for Father’s Day, and kicking off one of our favorite summer traditions—Water Days! 💦

We’re also thrilled to launch our brand-new Ballancrest Summer Series, featuring exciting themed weeks filled with hands-on activities, special events, and unforgettable memories for our students. 🌟

Our Neighborhood & Habitat Unit has been full of excitement and hands-on learning this month! 🏡🌎🦋

The children have explored neighborhoods, and animal habitats, through play, art, stories, and outdoor activities. We also officially started our garden, giving the children the chance to help plant and learn how things grow. 🌱

Our life cycle study is almost complete as we release our butterflies — such a fun and meaningful experience for the children! 🐛➡️🦋

We’ve loved watching their curiosity and excitement grow throughout this unit!
