Due to the forecast of severe weather and high winds expected in the Charlotte area tomorrow morning, Trinity Weekday School will be closed on Monday, March 16.

Due to winter storm that has hit our area, CMS has made the decision to close tomorrow, Monday, January 26.

Per our inclement weather policy, Trinity WDS will be closed as well. We appreciate your cooperation and patience.

Priority registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year!

NOTE: Priority registration will close on Monday, January 19. Registration will be open to the public on Tuesday, January 20.

Any applications submitted after Monday, January 19 will be placed in timestamp order with the community registration forms.

Per the Trinity WDS Parent Handbook, we will follow Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools’ (CMS) decision for inclement weather closing and delays. CMS announced late last night that they will be operating on a 2 HR delay today.

Therefore, we will open from 10:55a - 1p TODAY. We must delay opening the WDS so that our staff with children in CMS will be able to work.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather advisory for all of Mecklenburg County for heavy rain and wind gusts up to 50 MPH from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Due to the severe weather advisory and out of an abundance of caution, all Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will be closed to students on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Per our inclement weather policy, Trinity WDS will be closed as well. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this inclement weather closure may cause for families, and we appreciate your understanding.

Out of an abundance of caution due to winter weather conditions in the forecast for tomorrow, CMS is shifting to remote instruction.

Since CMS has moved to remote learning, Trinity Weekday School will be closed tomorrow.

Stay safe and hopefully we’ll have some snow for the kiddos to enjoy!

Trinity WDS will be having our annual Silent Auction March 10-14.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we are asking local businesses to donate items to make it a success!

Please consider donating an item such as a 👩🏼‍🍳 in-home chef services, 🏝️vacation getaway, 🧘🏻‍♂️yoga or 🏋🏼fitness class packs, local business gift baskets, 🍱 restaurant gift cards, 🏀 sporting event or 🎭 show tickets and ⛳️ rounds of golf; the possibilities are endless! 🤩

We ask all items be submitted by Tuesday, February 25. Physical items will need to be dropped off to Trinity WDS no later than Monday, March 3.

The water main repairs are still in progress, and the water cannot be turned back on until the work is complete.
Due to the water being turned off, we are unable to open the school on Monday, January 27.
As we learn more tomorrow, we will communicate what this means for opening Tuesday.
