The goal should never be to "fix" your coworkers or employees.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They aren't broken. If your goal is only to fix their brokenness, you will make very little progress and end up more frustrated than when you began.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They don't lack the ability. They will surprise you with what they CAN do. However, they need the right support and strategies added to their environment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I invite you to DM me to schedule a discovery call to talk more about your specific team and how we can uncover what those strategies are.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you lead a team, during our 1 on 1 coaching we work on mindset and...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱assessing the team culture
🌱understanding why you are experiencing challenging behaviors
🌱addressing the challenging behaviors and replacing them with new behaviors
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
DM me to talk more.

When I first started working with someone, she knew she wanted to flourish in her career but felt indecisive and felt her time wasn’t being well spent.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She was also ready to embrace the person she was becoming.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Indecision and lack of time in life and career created frustration, defeat, loss of control, and the feeling of never being able to get caught up on everything… much less spend any extra time to grow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead, we worked together to reframe her thoughts to having “more than enough time”, to recognize that time didn’t own her, but she owned time. She has the ability to take charge of her life and choose how she spends her time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just like her, you can choose how to spend your time. You can choose to take charge of your life and your own expectations.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In doing so, you can begin to flourish in your career or in leadership.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You show up today for your future self.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Time doesn't choose you. You choose the time. What do you choose to do with it? How are you showing up today for your future self?

I set myself free through the curiosity about who I am and my unique gifts
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you know me, you would know I could talk about human design all day. Of course, I’ve taken other assessments and love them too, and have various tools when working with individuals and teams, but human design takes the cake in making the biggest difference in my life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I learned my human design, it gave me permission to be different in all the ways I thought those differences were wrong... I didn't trust or understand why I was a certain way. I thought I needed to be fixed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In human design, there are four different design types. My human design type is Manifestor. One of the first things I learned is that Manifestors are only 8% of the population (so no wonder I felt different!).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I learned that what I thought needed to be fixed: my bursts of energy and then (seemingly long) periods of rest, my wild “out-there” ideas, my need for freedom, and my independence were not bad --- but instead my superpower.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Manifestors are visionaries and initiators in the world. We bring new energy and impact to make big, meaningful changes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Every human design type has its superpower and it’s beautiful when they come together.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fun fact: before I knew human design, I later realized the most ‘in flow’ and impactful leadership team I worked with —- they were each of the human design types! Whaaaat?!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Get curious and embrace who you are and your unique gifts
& let's get to know each other! What's your human design or enneagram?

How I set myself free by building trust in me
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yesterday I was spinning in indecision about what I was going to do. My indecision has gotten worse since the Pandemic as the lines get blurry when I work, when I do housework, when I’m present with my kids all in the same house.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On top of indecision. I then layer on a judgement about my indecision. I judge myself for being indecisive and not deciding. Of not being able to focus.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My past self would’ve just stopped there. Felt the heaviness of it all. This, my friends, is an example of not feeling free. Spinning in the decision and then layering on judgement.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The journey to freedom requires the ability to have awareness of what’s going on in your mind and the layered judgement you may be adding to it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yesterday I realized I was being indecisive and judgmental and that wasn’t serving me. In order to get out of it, I came back to myself my ‘Touch Tree” and asked, what have I done in the past that has worked to get me out of this?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remembered taking a walk helps clear my mind and helps me get deeper into “me” again. That I have everything I need and I can choose to decide what to do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I did. I choose one or two tasks I could do and to help bring a feeling of accomplishment to the rest of my day. I choose to feel accomplished based on my decision.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Go from spinning in indecisiveness to awareness and trust. Time and time again. And you will be set free. ✌️

Walking into a work situation where you experience a lot of pushback from the employees is no fun.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You wrote an email and the employee emails back “I just asked a question” or “duly noted” or all the excuses of why they can’t do something.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It makes a world of a difference having a coach who helps you work out what is going on underneath the surface. To help you not react but respond to a situation. To show you a blind spot. To help make sure you have your own back 💯 in what you decide to do next, as it’s what your higher or best self would do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you can handle yourself and reaction to others, you don’t feel constrained or tied down or stuck to something outside of you. You can remove the fear or doubt and be a little lighter and brighter. Able to deal with conflict.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It helps you get to the other side of what you want.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lead courageously my friends.

Being a leader is not a badge you wear or a title you are given. It's not the amount of money in your bank account or the kind of car you drive. It's not about having a certain degree or holding a place in the office.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As Brene Brown says, a leader is "anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people, and who has the courage to develop that potential."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How are you showing up today? For other people? For yourself?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maybe you feel like you have good intentions but keep getting distracted, are frustrated, self-critical, not "enough", keep spinning in circles, burnt out, or feel stuck.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It doesn't have to be this way.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Flourish Together offers one on one coaching for leaders of teams or those looking to take charge and influence positive change in their lives and workplace.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We work from the inside out to unleash your potential, build trust in yourself and lead yourself and others courageously.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You are not alone. 👊

The job you have, or had at some point in time, is just a decision you made. It doesn’t define you.
It took a year of coaching and self coaching to break free of my, what I defined at the time, toxic job.
This is the first post of a series I’m calling “How I set myself free”.
I set myself free from my job that became as far away from my authentic self as possible - by coming to terms that it didn’t control me. My job DOES NOT control me. And never will.
I was tired and had no “freedom or cushion fund”. I was circling in resentment and frustration. I did not feel in control of life (to say the least).
But once I asked myself questions such as posted above ☝️I realized that my belief of being in a toxic job actually made me victim and chained down to it. I had to notice what I defined as “toxic” and get to work in those areas.
Why is the job “toxic” and what do you need to voice, do, how do you need to show up, what boundary is needed?
One shift at a time. One boundary at a time. Address one problem at a time until that job will get better or is not an energetic match to you any more and it drops off and a new one comes in.
I didn’t let the job have power over me anymore. I didn’t even have to voice my boundary- I shifted subconsciously to having my back 💯 and set emotional boundaries and did what I felt was right and good.
Everything shifted. Then I applied for a job (first job I applied to in over a year) and got it.
My new job is more aligned with what I want to do (team coaching) and I still have my back 💯 no matter what.
It was my self work and courage to set myself free through owning my thoughts and emotions. My life was a mess. Like I said, it took me a year to clean multiple areas of my life up and get the deep results I wanted. I’m no longer a victim in my life.
This is why I’m opening 1 on 1 coaching with me. A year long weekly package. To guarantee significant shifts and long term results. Everyone should feel empowered in their life and be set free.
Watch for more in the series.

Snow days call for books and warm ❄️
Actually these books are on my dresser right now and I’ve only just started a couple of them and can’t wait to finish! I want to get back in the habit of reading more often! Maybe every day for 20min? I’m not sure yet.
Have you read any of these? Any recommendations? Books or flavor? 😂 Pictured are peanut butter cup, rocky road, and confetti
