Our first week of camp was full of exploring and being curious! We made soups in our outdoor classroom with the lavender we grow, explored ice and watched it melt through a funnel and painted with it to watch colors blend. We went on scavenger hunts and found treasures like feathers, sticks, and rocks. And we scooped acorns out of rice sensory bins and learned that they are seeds that can grow into trees! Our rooms were full of materials to explore and questions to ask!

Today we celebrate an incredible teacher and member of The Mothership family, Linda Boyce. 💜

Tomorrow marks Linda’s final day with us as she begins her well-earned retirement after over 40 years in education and five beautiful years with The Mothership since the very beginning in 2020.

Linda has poured her heart and soul into guiding children through some of their earliest and most important learning experiences. Her passion for early literacy, kindergarten readiness, and nurturing young minds has impacted countless children and families over the years.

Thank you Linda, we will miss you greatly and wish you so much joy, rest, adventure, and happiness in your retirement. 💜
