It's Our Student Body, Draw the Line. The Community Psychology Learning Community at UNCC is working on a campus-wide s*xual assault prevention project during home football game weekends.

UNC Charlotte is SEVENTH in the nation for the highest number of s*xual assaults reported in a year. This statistic is what sparked a group of students' interest in raising awareness and prevention method to UNCC's student body. Here, we

- Define the different types of s*xual assault.
- Define consent.
- List the warning signs of s*xual abuse within a relationship.
- Offer tips on how to be an ac

tive by stander.
- Encourage people to be alert and prepared.
- Mention what steps to take if you’re assaulted
- Explain the legal consequences for perpetrators. Our main goal is to let you know that you are NOT alone, and that you CAN make a difference. UNCC has multiple resources on campus to help those who have been assaulted:

1. University counseling center phone number: 704-687-0311
2. Interpersonal Violence Prevention Services phone number: 704-687-7407
