I cannot wait to use the book to spark imagination and wonder, I wish I had a book like this when I was a kid, it’s such a fun and whimsical rhyming picture book written by and the illustrations are magical. It’s a definite add to your classroom library if you’re on the hunt for a good book! 🤩

Let me tell you why I love memory books:
They are a great keepsake for the year- that’s the obvi one
But I can’t tel you how many times these have served as a great time-filler in between the awkward end of year days where you have gaps of ten minutes in between coming back from a field trip and going to an assembly.
Having an entire memory BOOK to work on means no explaining something new, they know what to do.
What’s your favorite way to fill those awkward time gaps when your schedule is jam-packed with things that aren’t part of your students’ normal routine?

If your font menu is longer than a CVS receipt, listen up✨I’ve solved a mystery!!
The mystery of why we treat fonts like a pet rock collection lol.
It’s bc of the emotional connection we make to beautiful letters.
📝 A cute little ‘e’ can make us smile.
Fonts can even make special memories (re: my first font I ever made was an elf font for elves to write to students)
Fun fonts on a classroom door? PURE JOY and a welcoming atmosphere pls & ty.
I took this pic of this notebook a few years ago, but I’m still hanging onto it (even though all the pages are full of now irrelevant things) bc the lettering makes me happy!
Speaking of happy, swipe to see a new announcement 📣 I have for font lovers everywhere!! (It’s something you’ve been asking me to make more of since 2016 🙈😂🥰)
Rate your font addiction in the comments using only heart emojis.

*virtual toast* to the weekend. 2 reasons we’re roasting: 1️⃣My husband is considered an essential worker and still reports to work everyday, so lately I’ve been loving the weekends because we get to stay home together only on the weekends. 2️⃣ I released a new podcast episode about the 7 things I did each night to transform my life and help balance teaching full-time and running an online business- my teacherpreneur friends- this ones for you. Link in Bio Can we keep this celebration chain going? Is there anything you’re grateful for that we could toast to? LMK below! https://ift.tt/3arzuJ4

I was on a plane to South America. ✈️ It was the first time I 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 left my comfort zone (and continent). When you sign up to teach abroad you pick your top 3 countries. Then you wait. And wait. Y’all... by mid-November everyone in my cohort had been placed and my student teaching semester was set to begin in January. I couldn’t imagine the future. Jan 1 was like a big black screen at the end of a movie. 🖥 I ended up finding out last minute that I was being placed in Quito, Ecuador 🇪🇨 And I’m so glad. While there, I further pushed myself outside my comfort zone by jumping off a bridge during and visiting the Amazon jungle.🦜🌴 That experience primed me to get used to being uncomfortable. 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞. Perf example? I just made the cheesiest video (check my stories) in effort find others who are committed to their dream and need help getting there. I don’t mind dancing on social media for 30 sec if it means making an authentic connection with someone on here. (You’ll see what I mean in my stories 💃🏻🤣) Even though it’s uncomfortable, I’m committed to building a community of who just get it. (P.S. Have you listened to the Routine Your Dream podcast?) I’d love to know the most UNcomfortable thing you’ve done that turned out amazing?! LMK below! Repost from https://ift.tt/2ToPXpR
