🎢 Engineering, creativity, and teamwork in action!

This week, our Year 6 students launched their new Theme Parks topic by becoming engineers for the day. Using recycled and everyday materials, they collaborated to design, build, and test their own theme park attractions, from thrilling roller coasters to imaginative rides of the future.

As they tackled engineering challenges together, students carefully considered structure, stability, safety, and what makes an attraction exciting for visitors. It was wonderful to see them plan, adapt, and refine their ideas while developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

We can't wait to see where this exciting exploration of the science, technology, and innovation behind the theme parks of the future takes them next! 🎡✨

⚽💙 What an exciting week for Lions Athletics!

Our Middle School Boys' Soccer team earned a huge 7-1 victory over Woodlawn Academy! Congratulations to Luca, who led the scoring with 4 goals, Arjun with 2, and Tommy with 1! Great work, to the entire team on an outstanding performance!

A special thank you to our teachers, staff, and parents who came out to cheer on the team. Your support from the side-lines created an incredible atmosphere and demonstrated the strong sense of community that makes BISC so special. 💙💛

It was also wonderful to see our High School students, Primary students, and even some of our Early Years students coming out to support the team. Seeing students of all ages cheering together highlights the strong connections and school spirit that unite our community.

And good luck to our Cross Country team as they compete in their first meet today at Carolina International School! They have been working incredibly hard through the heat, and we can't wait to see the results of all their hard work.
