Charlotte Preparatory School Charlotte Prep is an independent PreK-8 preparatory school serving 440 students ages 2-14.

At Charlotte Prep, we believe the most formative learning occurs between ages 2 and 14. Our intimate learning environment supports the student through these pivotal years. 🧪Seventh grade recalibrated their scientific method skills with a test lab today, and contrary to many of their predictions, learned that adding Alka-Seltzer to water lowers the water's temperature (an endothermic reaction).

🪈Our 4th graders had their very first band class! This year these budding musicians will each learn the basics of four instruments: flute, clarinet, trumpet, and trombone. They will also continue refining their singing technique so that they are ready to join middle school band or chorus next year. A big thank-you to Ms. Pam Sweer for working with our students until Ms. Moscati returns in October!
