As the first day of school gets closer, now is the perfect time to make sure your student's uniform is ready. Families should confirm they have the correct grade-level polo colors, approved bottoms, required outerwear and black shoes, which are required as part of the SCCS uniform. It is also a great time to check that uniforms still fit, replace worn items and plan ahead for both warm and cooler weather.

Shopping early can help families avoid back-to-school rushes and ensure students are prepared before Open House. If you're looking to save, be sure to sign up for FlynnO'Hara sale notifications and take advantage of our K-8 Uniform Exchange during Open House by donating or picking up gently used uniform pieces.

Need help getting started? This week's The Creek Countdown blog includes everything you need to know, including grade-specific uniform guidance, shopping resources, money-saving tips, Uniform Exchange details and information about assistance available through our Social Work Department.

The Creek Countdown is officially underway!

With the first day of school getting closer, now is a great time for families to help students ease back into learning habits. Simple activities such as reading each day, practicing math during everyday moments, writing, taking movement breaks and rebuilding school routines can help students return to The Creek feeling confident, focused and ready.

The goal is not to recreate school at home. Small, consistent steps can make a meaningful difference as we prepare for a strong start.
