Hi everyone! My name is Miss Santee, and I am so excited to join the Farm as a first-year teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. I moved to Charlotte in 2025 from Reno, Nevada, with my fiancé, Adrian, and our two fur babies, Sebastian and Penelope.
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants, dancing to fun music, and, most of all, reading. Reading has always been my greatest passion, which is why I am excited to help our 4th graders grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers this year.
I’ve had the joy of working with children for over 10 years, and I continue to be inspired by their curiosity, creativity, and imagination. I can’t wait to see what my students teach me this year, and I am honored to be a part of their learning journey in return. I look forward to an amazing school year and welcome back students and families!¡Hola a todos! Me llamo la señorita Santee y estoy muy emocionada por incorporarme a The Farm como maestra de primer año en las Escuelas de Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Me mudé a Charlotte en 2025 desde Reno (Nevada) con mi prometido, Adrián, y nuestras dos mascotas, Sebastián y Penélope.
Fuera del aula, me encanta pasar tiempo al aire libre, probar nuevos restaurantes, baile al ritmo de música divertida y, sobre todo, leer. La lectura siempre ha sido mi mayor pasión, por eso estoy deseando ayudar a nuestros alumnos de 4.º de primaria a crecer como lectores, escritores y pensadores críticos este año.
He tenido la suerte de trabajar con niños durante más de 10 años, y sigo inspirándome en su curiosidad, creatividad e imaginación. Estoy deseando ver qué me enseñan mis alumnos este año, y, a cambio, es un honor para mí formar parte de su proceso de aprendizaje. ¡Espero que sea un año escolar increíble y doy la bienvenida a los estudiantes y a sus familias!
