💙 A Final Update on Pampered for Patrick 💙
When we started Pampered for Patrick this August, our goal was simple: to come together as a community and show Patrick and the Yang family that they were not alone in this fight.
Today, we are incredibly grateful to share that we raised $2,448 through our campaign. 🙏🏼
A very special THANK YOU to our students who worked so hard throughout the month to help us reach this goal. Every service they performed, every hour they dedicated, and every client they served helped turn their hard work into something much bigger—a gift of love and support for Patrick and his family.
And to our community, clients, friends, and families who joined us this August—whether you booked an appointment, donated, shared our posts, encouraged our students, or simply kept Patrick in your prayers… thank you. ❤️
Sadly, as of yesterday, August 31st, Patrick’s fight came to an end. At only 30 years old, his journey was far too short, and our hearts are with The Yang family, and everyone who loved him.
While we wish we could have changed the outcome, we hope this campaign reminded Patrick and his family that they were surrounded by people who cared. We came together, we showed up, and we fought alongside them in every way we knew how.
We like to believe that somewhere above us, Patrick is smiling down on all of us, knowing that his community came together in his honor and stood united in the fight against cancer. 🕊️💙
$2,448 raised. Countless hearts touched. One beautiful community.
Rest peacefully, Patrick. Your fight may be over, but your impact will continue through all of us. 🤍
There are moments when a community has the opportunity to come together and remind someone they are not fighting alone. Today, we’re asking you to help us do exactly that.
Many of you know our amazing alumna, Kayla. Today, we’re sharing something deeply personal about her family.
Her older brother, Patrick, is only 30 years old. He was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of liver cancer—a disease that often doesn’t show symptoms until it’s too late. His family received the heartbreaking news that there are no medical treatment options available. Right now, they’re holding onto hope through holistic care, their faith, and the love and support of those around them.
If you’ve ever met Patrick and the Yang family, you know they are the kind of people who are always there for others. Through their Charlotte Business Owners Group, they have supported countless small businesses, celebrated others’ successes, and given so much back to our community without ever asking for anything in return.
Now, they need us.
💛Throughout the entire month of August, 100% of the proceeds from services performed on our Nail Clinic Floor at NC Nails Esthetics Academy will go directly toward helping Patrick and his family during this holistic journey to recovery.
Even if you can’t make it in for an appointment, you can still make a difference:
✨ Donate to Patrick’s GoFundMe.
✨ Share this post so it reaches more hearts.
✨ Pray for Patrick, his family, and for strength, peace, and miracles.
💛No act of kindness is too small. A nail appointment can become a gift of hope. A simple share can reach someone who is able to help. A prayer can bring comfort during unimaginable moments.
Let’s show Patrick and the Yang family what a loving, compassionate community looks like. Let’s surround them with hope, generosity, and prayers.
💛Get pampered with a purpose. Share this post. Pray. Donate if you’re able. Together, we can make a difference.
