Applications are open for CTI seminars
The Charlotte Teachers Institute, an educational partnership with CMS, UNC Charlotte and Johnson C. Smith University, is focused on strengthening teaching through high-quality professional development seminars. Successful fellows receive a $1,500 stipend and three CEUs. Applications are now open.
The 2021 seminar topics include Southern children's literature, digital mapping and gentrification, childhood mental health, embodied teaching, climate refugee stories, philosophy and education, the science and culture of Black women's hair and action peace-building.

With the new year comes new seminars! In 2021 we will have eight seminars covering a wide range of topics. The names of the Seminars, Leaders, and Coordinators are listed below:
