Cochrane Collegiate Academy families, due to a winter storm predicted for North Carolina and Mecklenburg County, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will implement a full day of remote learning on Friday, January 10, 2025. CCA and IMeck Building will be closed for teaching and learning.

The full day of remote learning will include asynchronous instruction only, which means students will have assignments that they will take home on Thursday, January 9 that they will need to complete independently and turn in on Monday, January 13. Students will not need to log on to their devices to meet with teachers or experience live instruction on Friday.

Please stay safe during this winter weather event. We look forward to seeing students back in the classrooms on Monday, January 13, 2025.

With continued issues around the district from Hurricane Helene, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will be closed for students on Monday, 9/30/24. Monday will be an optional teacher workday. In addition, there will be no ASEP at any Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools on Monday, September 30. This decision does not impact the remainder of the 2024-25 district calendar.

Asynchronous Learning will take place as follows:

All students in grades 6-12 are required to complete the following assignments online via CANVAS.
Technology Device Lessons on Canvas
Title IX Lesson on Canvas
Complete any assignments provided by your ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies and Elective Teachers
Complete any missing assignments and submit to your teachers.

Well our students and families showed up tonight!!! Cochrane Collegiate Academy welcomed over 1200 students and family members to our school campus to get schedules, meet teachers, confirm transportation, and get helpful information to set up our scholars for success for the 2024-25 school year!
Thank you for your attendance and patience this evening.
