Your musicians are doing a great job so far selling the Go Play Save coupon books! Please continue to sell. We have plenty of extras if they want to get more. We are setting a deadline of Friday 9/11 to have all the money turned in. Everyone who sells at least 5 books gets to come to the pizza party at the end of the sale and spin the prize wheel.

***VERY IMPORTANT**** Any books that you cannot sell, MUST be returned to us. We can return them to Go Play Save and get credited. However, if we don't give the books back, we are invoiced for them. We want to make money for our music program, not lose money!.

We are in the band room every morning at arrival time (8:45-9:15) collecting money. Sometimes, the line gets a little backed up but we can write your student a late pass.

**Please do not just drop the books or money off in the band room without speaking to one of the representatives or our band/orchestra directors. We need to make sure we are logging the sales or returned books on the spreadsheet to ensure the correct person is getting credit for the sales. At the end of the sale, we don't want to show that your student owes money because we didn't know they turned something in.

Good evening Band & Orchestra families! Your musicians will be receiving the Go Play Save coupon books to sell for our fundraiser starting tomorrow and Friday (depending if they have class on A day or B day). This fundraiser is very important to our Instrumental Arts program. We ask that each student sell at least 5 books, but we encourage them to sell as many as possible! The more they sell, the more we can do for this program. And, for every 5 books they sell, they get to spin the prize wheel at the pizza party which happens at the end of the sale.

The students will turn in money during arrival time each morning for the next few weeks. We will be in the Band Room until 9:15 collecting money.

*** It is very important that if they do not sell the books, we need the books back so we can return them to Go Play Save and get credited for them. Otherwise, we are invoiced***

We will need some parent volunteers to help us with money collecting in the mornings. Please take a look at this Sign-Up Genius and sign up for a slot.

Hey Band & Orchestra families- we are still in desperate need of 2-3 chaperones for the 7th grade Carowinds trip this Friday, May 15th. Even if your student is not in 7th grade, PLEASE consider attending this trip. It's a great opportunity for our music students to play for judges. The trip will have to be cancelled if we can't get enough chaperones. Please reach out to Miss Guthrie and/or Miss Shives if you can help us out.

****URGENT NEED!!! ****

Good Morning Band & Orchestra families- we have an urgent need for chaperones for the 7th grade Band/Orchestra trip to Carowinds on Friday, May 15. We still need 7 chaperones to accompany us on this trip. PLEASE consider helping out. If we do not get enough chaperones, the trip will need to be cancelled. If you are able to chaperone, please reach out to Miss Shives (Band) or Miss Guthrie (Orchestra) ASAP!!! We need to get the chaperones squared away by this Wednesday in order for the trip to happen. This is a very important opportunity for our student musicians to play in front of this panel. And, they get a fun day at Carowinds on rides! We don't want them to miss out! Thank you!!!!!
