This week was filled with so much love, appreciation, and support for our Villa Heights staff! 💛

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful PTA for the incredible ways you celebrated every staff member during Teacher Appreciation Week. From the handwritten cards and customized shirts to the coffee trucks, gourmet lunch, and countless thoughtful touches, every gesture reminded us how valued and supported we are. We had a blast with our Staff Underground Spirit Week. The excitement of guessing the daily theme brought so much fun, laughter, and school spirit throughout the building each day.

Thank you to our amazing Villa Heights community for coming out and making today so special. From crafts and games to delicious food and nonstop fun, there was truly something for everyone!

From the strong support at the Education Rally on Friday to today’s joyful kickoff with Spring Fling, this has been the perfect start to an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week!

We were honored to welcome Dorothy Counts-Scoggins, who shared her powerful story and the impactful work she has done in Charlotte. Her message of courage, perseverance, and hope was both meaningful and inspiring. What a gift for our students and staff to hear firsthand about history that continues to shape our community. Thank you to our awesome students for being attentive listeners and asking great questions!
