Charlotte Christian School is an independent, coeducational, interdenominational Christian school for students from junior kindergarten to grade 12. Our vision for students includes the integration of Biblical principles where character, values and essential practical skills are emphasized and modeled; a rigorous academic program is offered; lifetime fitness and athletics are encouraged; and a fin

e arts program where creative expression is nurtured. At Charlotte Christian, we nurture and educate the whole child — heart, mind, body and soul — and provide a challenging college-preparatory curriculum that includes honors and 17 Advanced Placement classes; 45 athletic teams; and a broad fine arts program encompassing visual, musical and theatrical skill development. Charlotte Christian is a seven-time ACSI Exemplary Program winner and a 2006 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The student population of nearly 1,000 reflects a geographical, denominational (130 different Christian churches), racial and ethnic diversity. Every student, in grades JK through 12 participates in local, national and/or international service projects including Habitat for Humanity, overseas mission trips, Operation Christmas Child, Harvest Kitchen and more. Our faculty and staff instill the vision and practice of excellence into everything we do while partnering with parents to prepare students to excel in college and in life. Our faculty average 16.5 years tenure and thrive in an atmosphere where there is 100 percent participation in professional development. Charlotte Christian School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Council of Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS-CASI) and is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools (NCAIS), the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA) as well as the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

🍋How fun is this?! First-grade buddies Grant and Ellie recently organized a lemonade stand, raising over $90! But here’s the sweetest part: these two mini-philanthropists went on a mission to find the perfect cause. They sat down with Mr. Giller and Mr. Henderson to talk it over like true pros, and decided their donation would go toward the future Saleh Athletic Center! 🏗️🏀From lemons to leadership — the next generation of Knights is already giving back, and we couldn’t be prouder. 🌄 Grade 5 social studies students kicked off their new unit with an immersive classroom transformation experience! Students "went camping" at one of six featured National Parks – Acadia, Olympic, Grand Canyon, Arches, Yellowstone, or Sequoia – where they engaged in an interactive, multidisciplinary study discovering the unique plants, animals, and geography of their park. They also created custom informative pennant flags, and enjoyed a campfire s'mores snack while learning about the history and importance of the National Park Service! 🏕️🌲📚

🌎 Upper school students from the Global Awareness Committee gathered this morning to launch a new year of leadership and engagement aimed at enhancing multicultural initiatives, as well as diversity and belonging programs within the Charlotte Christian community. Their first event took place at the Romans 12 Kickoff two weeks ago. Under the guidance of Global Awareness Prefect David Thomas Little, this group will collaborate closely with Mrs. Jozi Walker, the director of diversity and belonging, to organize school-wide events, including the upcoming Noche Hispana on Thursday, September 24th. This festive evening will feature Latin-inspired cuisine, live music and performances, engaging activities, and fun for the entire family. Everyone is welcome to join!

This week in upper school chapel, student-athletes shared their insights on honoring God while competing on the field, court, and track! Juniors Brendan Clark, along with seniors Celia Natwick, Colter Miller, Brooke Campbell, and Sam Lister, discussed what makes a Christ-following athlete unique. They reminded us that being a great competitor means treating opponents with respect and striving for excellence without the need for perfection, and that our true identity comes from Christ, not just the sports we play! 🙌✨
