This week, our Shamrocks are celebrating Down syndrome Awareness month and the amazing kids in our Matthew Morgan Program who bring so much joy, friendship, and spirit to our school.

Today was Crazy Socks Day, reminding us that our differences are something to celebrate.

The fun continues all week long:
💙 Wednesday: Kindness Chains — spreading kindness one link at a time
💛 Thursday: Sweet treats for our students
💙 Friday: Wear blue and yellow to show our support and celebrate inclusion!

[SOUND ON📢]

Our second graders brought the Parable of The Good Samaritan to life through Readers’ Theatre, taking turns reading and acting out one of our most important lessons: what it means to love our neighbor.

They practiced their parts and read and acted confidently all while learning that kindness, compassion, and service to others is how we live out our faith. Thanks for the reminder, second grade, and bravo!

A firetruck, honorary badges, and an important lesson for our Kindergarten shamrocks. 🚒☘️

Thank you to South End Fire Station 2 for visiting St. Patrick School! Our students climbed through the truck, learned about the ladder and tools, and saw a firefighter wearing his mask and air tank. Most importantly, they learned that beneath all that gear is someone there to help — and if there is a fire, they should never hide from a firefighter.

Mrs. Wasson and Mr. Calametti even took a turn in the front seat! We were happy to send the crew off with a thank-you meal in appreciation for their time, kindness, and service to our community. Thank you Fire Station 2 for the lesson and for keeping us safe!❤️

Friday night under the lights! 🏈☘️🩵❤️

Our Shamrocks showed up to cheer on the Cougars alongside our friends from St. Ann Catholic School — and what a night it was! From our honorary captains joining the Cougars at midfield for the coin toss to cheering from the stands, it was awesome seeing our families come together for a great night of Catholic school spirit.

Thank you, Charlotte Catholic, for welcoming our families and making the night so special.

In between all the cheering and excitement, we couldn’t help but capture some sweet moments between our Shamrocks and these alumni football players — now back in the same classrooms where they once grew up. ❤️☘️🩵

From catching up with former teachers to signing autographs and answering questions, we are so thankful that these young men came back to visit. They were kind and respectful, generous and patient, and our kiddos loved every minute of it.

Thank you Frank, Jack, Luke, and TJ, and President Seeley, Mrs. Carano, and Mr. Panther for coming back to St. Patrick and spending the afternoon with us.

Once a Shamrock, always a Shamrock! ☘️
