Friendship is one of the most important things we can learn!

Today, our Trail Blazers spent language circle talking about what it means to be a good friend. We discussed ways to show kindness, share with others, be helpful, and include everyone. These everyday conversations help build the communication and social skills children use both in and out of the classroom.

We can’t believe it’s already the final week of camp!

The Trail Blazers are making the most of every moment with Safari Week! Today, campers learned about lions through engaging activities, stories, and crafts.

🦁 Fun Fact: A lion’s roar can be heard from up to 5 miles away!

Today’s Arctic adventure included creating penguins!

Did you know art is an excellent way to support speech and language development?

It helps children: • Learn and use new vocabulary. • Practice listening and following directions. • Encourages conversation by giving children opportunities to describe, ask questions, and share their creations.

Every project is another opportunity to learn and communicate.

Today, our Adventurers learned about whales that live in the icy Arctic waters. Campers enjoyed activities that helped them discover how these animals survive in one of the coldest places on Earth.

Fun Fact: Bowhead whales have the thickest blubber of any whale—up to 20 inches thick—which helps keep them warm in icy oceans!

Learning is always an adventure at camp!

The Adventurers created polar bear art before becoming junior scientists by making snowstorms in a jar. Through this hands-on experiment, campers explored how different substances react to create a fun, snowy surprise.

We can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s adventure brings while learning about Arctic animals!

The Explorers are taking over this week!

This week, we’re heading to the Arctic to learn all about the amazing animals that call this icy habitat home. Today, campers kicked off the week by exploring arctic seals through stories, hands-on activities, and creative art.

The campers are making a splash this week! 🌊

This week’s theme is the ocean, and today the Explorers started their adventure by learning about octopuses! 🐙 Through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities, our campers explored one of the ocean’s most fascinating animals.

Follow along this week as we follow the Explorers’ class as they continue to discover all the wonders beneath the waves!

What a fantastic first week of Summer Camp! Our campers had so much fun exploring life on the farm through hands-on activities and learning experiences.

Today, our Scouts painted owls and became scientists as they explored different animal footprints.

✨ After-School Preschool Science: Worms! ✨

This week our little scientists explored worms! We learned that worms live in the soil, wiggle to move, and help plants grow by making tiny tunnels underground.

Hands-on learning makes science meaningful and so much fun!

We can’t wait to keep exploring the Earth next week in our after school science class!
