Opening its doors in late 2006, the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen was built to provide meeting and event space for alumni, faculty, and friends of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The Center is specifically designed for alumni to cultivate new friendships and maintain those established when attending the University. UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, students, and the Charlotte com
munity are encouraged to use the Harris Alumni Center for meetings, receptions, banquets, retreats, and corporate events. The Center can accommodate groups of 2 to 150 in a variety of settings. Named by the Harris Family, the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen houses the Office of Alumni Affairs. The Office of Alumni Affairs exists to serve the 95,000 alumni of UNC Charlotte.
