Looking for a superhero but without the cape…. At Jovie, formerly College Nannies and Sitters, we are looking for kind, nurturing, passionate caregivers who love to support families and minimize their stress. We are looking for organized, efficient, nannies who will engage with children, help them grow and learn, have fun, and maintain strong relationships with both parents and children. The ideal nanny would plan educational projects, crafts, physical outdoor/indoor activities, and assist with light chores. We have charming families who need immediate full-time and part-time care during the week.
As a Team Member you will:
- Focus on child-centric fun, including practicing the sport of the season.
- Prepare snacks or simple meals - use the activities to teach math skills.
- Engage children by leading hands-on activities to support the children's classroom learnings.
We’ll provide the following, too:
- Opportunities to advance in the childcare field and if applicable, practice classroom learnings.
- Opportunities for various contests and get-togethers for support and connection.
We hope you will bring:
- Experience working with children paid or unpaid with at least 2 references speaking to childcare work.
- Reliable transportation and cell phone.
- Your willingness and ability to travel from their home to school and sports activities.
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to a staffing supervisor and a bright smile to greet this loving family!
