As we prepare for the upcoming tax season, we would like to share some important
updates and reminders to help ensure a smooth and efficient experience for you.
IRS E-File Start Date
The IRS has announced it will begin accepting and processing individual tax
returns for the 2025 tax season on January 26, 2026.
U$Tax Office Hours
Our office will open for the season beginning Monday, January 19, 2026, with the following hours:
Monday–Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
(Appointments available after 5:00 p.m.)
Saturdays: By appointment only
For your convenience, we continue to accept emailed paperwork and drop-off returns.

*Social Security numbers for you, your spouse, and dependents
*Valid photo identification
*Income Statements
*W-2 forms from employers
1099 forms (interest, dividends, self-employment, etc.)
Deductions and Credits
*Educational expenses
*Charitable donation records
*Health Insurance Information
Form 1095-A (if coverage was obtained through the NC Marketplace)
