I’m deeply saddened to read this news of the Holywell Bay cave. I imagined this very cave as an important setting in my middle grade climate fiction manuscript. It’s my main character’s “safe space.” Ironically, because of climate change, the incredible lack of rain this summer, and then too much rain all at once for the land to handle, the cliff has fallen and sealed it. 😢

I love when one story time turns into so much more! ❤️📚

I know it’s tough to get kiddos out the door and am always happy to read, re-read, and re-read again TEDDY, LET’S GO! as families arrive. I’m glad you all came!! 🤗🧸

It was additional fun to do crafts and get on the floor to play games as well.

From the free downloadable activities guide available on my website, we drew our own teddies, made felt teddies, and I printed out the “scene cards” to make a memory game (of which we played several rounds😀).
