I'm so happy to be part of this collaboration! Can't wait to see the prints, get them installed, and attend the performances. Never thought I'd be working with dancers and musicians - hoping for more of this in the future.

Congratulations to City Building Lab Graduate Research Assistant Stephen Grotz! Stephen's project Desert to Oasis received a Merit Award from AIA Charlotte in their inaugural year for student design awards. Stephen's project was developed as part of the spring 2020 topical studio on modular affordable housing and neighborhood design led by CBL Director Nadia M. Anderson.

The UNC Charlotte City Building Lab is mourning the loss of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She upheld equity and justice for all and the law as a protective, not punishing force. Her voice supported our work and we are saddened by her passing.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Champion Of Gender Equality, Dies At 87
Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died from complications from cancer. Her death will set in motion what promises to be a tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her.
