Mallard Creek Elementary PTA The National Parent Teacher Association was established over 100 years ago and is the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the United States.

The PTA does not work alone; it works in cooperation with many national education, health, safety and child advocacy groups and federal agencies on projects that benefit our children and bring valuable resources to its members. In today’s society, shrinking budgets, increasing class sizes, and government mandates are just a few of the challenges our schools face in providing quality education to y

our children. The PTA addresses these issues and fights for full funding, quality teachers, and other issues along with our school’s administrators. When you join the Mallard Creek PTA, you also become a member of the North Carolina PTA and the National PTA. The State and National PTA organizations provide a unified voice on major issues and a unified push for improved legislation to better our children’s lives.
