Our children desperately need someone they can depend on. Hello!!
I help moms build trust and become an empowering presence in their children's lives. Welcome to Straight Talk with Toree! My name is Victoria Wedemeyer (Coach Toree). I believe when one take steps to seek guidance in their life, they are ready to discover and live the life they were meant to. I can tell you from my personal experience, going through the transformation process is amazing!! Most imp
ortantly, you'll be able to help guide your children more effectively. I realized during my journey of becoming a Life Coach, I had already began coaching as a teen. Females with mostly self-esteem and relationship issues. I could never figure out why these individuals were drawn to me… I understand now and I am truly grateful. Because of my story, I’ve made it my mission to work with and transform stressed and exhausted moms with school aged children to get a clear understanding of what is going on in their child’s head. I help them to connect, build trust and become an empowering presence in their children’s lives. I am a single mom of 3 very active school aged children. I know firsthand of the overwhelming stressors moms deal with everyday. Through this transformation process, moms learn to make themselves a priority by:
A) Taking care of their health through nutrition and exercise
B) Time management
C) Learn how to nurture the little girl inside. That’s where we have fun!! I was bullied as a young child. It was not until 40 years later did I realize the impact bullying had on my life, my relationships. My mother had no idea I had been bullied. She was a single mom to 8 children. She didn’t know because I didn’t want her to know. I hid it well. After finding support through outside help, it became clear to me that my purpose in life is to help children and their families. Bullying is rampant in our schools today. It's difficult for many adults to comprehend the severity of bullying today because we did not have the added factor of cyber bullying. In addition, we live in a society where our children see and hear adults bullying others on a regular basis on television or social media. I help children combat bullying in a positive manner by helping them to figure out who they are authentically. This is accomplished by leading them through a series of exercises designed to help them:
*Define and understand themselves
*Build upon and focus on their positive character traits
*Self Awareness / Self Image
*Appreciating Diversity
* Expressing Feelings Effectively
*Self-Esteem / Confidence
*Resolving Conflict Creatively
This will enable them to strengthen their foundation and favorably impact their interaction with others. When you have a child who is confident and is able to define themselves authentically, I believe bullying could be less of an issue for that child.
