Hi, I am Dr. Patricia G. a private piano and organ teacher in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. My goal is to tailor music instruction to each uniquely individual student at all stages of learning. I believe that learning to play an instrument is a skill that lasts a lifetime. Teaching music literacy, instilling self discipline, and developing efficient learning and practice habits are high on my list of priorities.
My students enjoy a creative environment that features the most up to date piano methods, technology, music games, incentive programs, and Summer camps. I have taught private piano lessons for over eight years, the last six of which have been in the Charlotte area. For over 25 years, I have directed adult, youth, and childrens' choirs in both church and school settings. My education includes undergraduate and graduate organ performance degrees earned at Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC, and at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.
