Meet Ms. Amber, Assistant Principal and Curriculum Coordinator at Ivybrook Academy Myers Park.

When asked why she chose to join the team at Ivybrook Academy she said, "I have long admired Ivybrook's curriculum, mission, and philosophy, especially the way each child's individuality is supported and celebrated. I strongly believe in embracing differences while empowering every child to reach their full potential, and in creating a safe, inclusive space where all children feel valued."

Ms. Amber holds a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and Associate's degree in Child & Family Studies, and Montessori Certification. With 20 years of experience in early childhood education, she is a dedicated leader who believes that high quality care is the foundation of meaningful learning.

Every child learns differently. Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences is one of the frameworks that shapes our curriculum at Ivybrook Academy.

Some children process the world through movement. Others through music, spatial reasoning, or interpersonal connection. Traditional classrooms tend to favor linguistic and logical-mathematical learners. Our blended curriculum is designed to honor all of them.

In practice, this means a single concept might be explored through building, drawing, group discussion, and hands-on experimentation within the same classroom.

Meet Ms. Sandy, Principal and Admissions Director of Ivybrook Academy Myers Park. Ms. Sandy has more than 25 years educational experience and knowledge; first as a classroom teacher and then administrator. She believes that all children have a right to the highest quality early education, and is deeply passionate about shaping the minds of the next generation.
