We are SO glad you are here and would love to introduce you to our little gem that we call Camp Frances. From the parking area by our modern cabin you will find yourself drawn into nature and away from everyday technology of a hurried lifestyle. Wander down the yard and start a fire in the fire pit and just put your feet up and relax. Soon you feel all the stress of everyday life melt away. Are you looking for a place for your family to reconnect? You have found it! Come enjoy the large outdoors area that Camp Frances has to offer, bring a picnic or something to cook over the open fire or grill, bicycles to enjoy all the trails throughout the park, lawn chairs or even sleeping bags! Are games your thing? There is a large selection of picnic tables for you to enjoy and move around as you see fit. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside the cabin as well in case the weather changes on you. Thanks to all who came out to our summer campfire!! We shared stories and memorabilia from Camp Fire Girls through the years. There were s’mores, snacks, and a good time!

The fall campfire will be on Nov. 8th. Mark your calendars!!

Camp Frances is hosting a summer reunion campfire on Sunday, August 30th at the fire pit at Camp Frances! Pass the word around and come to the event to “Make new friends, but keep the old. 🎶 One is silver and the other gold. 🎶”

Eaton County has announced the municipalities receiving funding as part of the 2026 Parks Community Grant Program.

Thank you to Eaton County Parks for selecting Camp Frances as a recipient of the Eaton County Parks Grant. We will be adding an ADA pathway to the campfire circle and more! Watch for details!

The May Apples are in bloom. You have to look closely because the bloom is under the large leaves. Come out to the Camp Frances woods and see if you can spot some!!
