Fire Conference Planning Help Needed!
Alright fire service friends, we need some help finding a location for an engine class during Carolina Fire Days, November 11–14.
Unfortunately, the dates don’t work for us to use RCCC again this year, and we’re already using the Harrisburg training grounds for another class. So we’re looking for another site somewhere in Rowan, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Union, or Iredell County.
What we’re looking for:
Training Building:
Two-story training building or even a two-story house/structure
Windows we can access for VES
A good hallway setup with left and right turns
Ability to build out or modify areas with pallets/materials if needed
Water:
A hydrant would be ideal
We’ll have multiple handlines flowing, so we need a water supply that can keep up
We’re pretty open-minded on the location and willing to get creative if someone has a property or training site that could work.
