🧡💙 Remembering Our Fallen Cougar, Danasia.
With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Danasia Elder (Brown), Class of ’08, who tragically lost her life on PSA Flight 5293. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
At Vance High School, Danasia was a dedicated cheerleader, bringing energy, spirit, and joy to those around her. She was known for her charisma, warmth, and loving nature, leaving a lasting impact on classmates and loved ones alike.
She had a true passion for being a flight attendant and serving others, embracing her role with dedication and care.
As we remember Danasia, we also mourn the loss of her PSA Airlines flight crew, who tragically perished alongside her:
• Captain Jonathan Campos, 34
• First Officer Samuel Lilley, 28
• Flight Attendant Ian Epstein, 53
Danasia is survived by her husband and two young children, who now carry forward her love and legacy.
As a community, we honor her memory, celebrate her beautiful life, and extend our support to her family and the families of her fellow crew members during this difficult time.
