October is National Bullying Prevention month, and while we try to talk to our students a little bit more about bullying during the back to school season, the truth is that our program works on bullying prevention year round.
How does our traditional martial arts program help make kids Bully-Proof?
✅Self Confidence - Our classes help kids develop their self-confidence. Confident kids are less likely to get bullied and more likely to stand up to bullies if they do.
✅Respect - Our students learn respect for themselves and others. This means they break the cycle of bullying by not becoming bullies themselves and by helping other kids who are the being bullied.
✅Self Defense - We teach our students the skills to mentally, verbally, and physically defend themselves from bullies if necessary.
We believe that no child should have to go to school everyday worried about bullies... they should be able to learn and have fun!!
