Melanin powers, ACTIVATE! Thank you to Dr. Brittany Hozik, a local family medicine physician, for teaching our Kid Docs about “Your Amazing Skin!” Healthy skin starts with the basics: 💧 water, 🧼 soap, 🧴 moisturizer, and ☀️ sunscreen. Melanin gives our skin an extra layer of natural protection—but everyone needs sunscreen! Our Kid Docs learned that we may come in every shade, with different amounts of melanin, but one thing is the same… every color can wear a white coat.
