Good evening.
Haven’t posted in a while. 2020 was well weird and work got busy. Anyways, I’ll begin offering “pay what you can” tutoring for math and science soon.
Typically I take $40 for 1st hour and $20 for the 2nd hour. But if you can’t afford that, no problem. Buy me a decaf coffee at Panera for the 2 hours. Or nothing if it’s between paying me to help your child or buying groceries.
I take up to 3 students per hour.
I don’t require them to wear masks unless they’re sniffly (that’s the world we live in now)
I’m fully vaccinated
Reach out to me at:

Or message me on Instagram

Been a while. But here is a part 3 video on the Reynolds number and covid transmission. Many more videos to come.
The Reynolds Number: Sneezing, breathing, kids, adults, and covid transmission risk
Here’s the finish line to part 1! The Reynolds number is a major key to figuring how covid infected cells and mucus are expelled from the trachea and into th...

I never took Linear Algebra in college. So I welcome the haters to the comments on this one! I got this problem from Khan Academy which is where I’m studying linear algebra until I can buy a textbook (Please donate $$$). This was a practice run. Thought it was good insight into how I start addressing subjects I don’t fully understand. So enjoy!

Sorry for the hiatus. My real job had me busy. Probably 8-10 hours OT a week. Finally settled down.
Anyways. Here’s a new video on the reverse Brayton cycle. Aka air conditioning. Here I try (big emphasis on try) to connect the dots between a real A/C system and the Pressure-Volume diagram.
Brayton Cycle & Air Conditioning. Connecting PV diagrams to the unit
To my 2 viewers, sorry for the hiatus. But I’m back! Working on my air conditioning P-Chem connection. Connecting the Pressure-Volume diagram of the reverse ...

In this video I walk through the process of air conditioning (refrigeration) using a portable air conditioning unit. This allows you to see all the components at once. I’ll go over what the parts are, what is happening, which will lead into my next video once it is up. Air conditioning involves many aspects of science. Chemistry, physical chemistry, thermodynamics, engineering, fluid dynamics, and more. 2nd part of my thermodynamic AC lecture. Where I connect the hard science of AC with careers outside of college. Such as HVAC repair!

Part 1 of a long series where I’ll try my best to explain the of . After this a portable unit will be taken apart to be examined. Connecting the & processes of the . Then finally, a look at my home A/C unit.
In this the foundation for the cycle is laid out. Typically, focuses on the . The is important though. It’s how a work. ? The opposite.

Reminder. I’m offering free tutoring during covid. I do take donations from 1¢ to $999,999.98 though.
The definition of a derivative seems to go by fast in your general calculus class. They’ll give you the limit where ΔΧ or “h” goes to zero. You learn how to answer the problem. Then you’ll move on to memorizing derivatives. I feel this goes by too fast. I’m also using this to segue into a physical chemistry concept where you use calculus to show that enthalpy H = Qp at constant pressure.

With COVID19 causing shutdowns of schools and future semesters being up in the air, parents need a quick resource to help their kids along. In an IG TV video I made, here is one of my favorite resources. I take it with me wherever I . I even use it at work. They’re $5-$8 each so we’ll worth the investment. Quick Study Guides.

WARNING! Working on components is dangerous!
I was cleaning up cables in The Shed and cut a cable to my brand new $6000 unit. It’s currently the middle of July in the south. AC tech was coming the following day but I decided to fix it which I did. The tech said my work was good so at his suggestion, I decided to do to clean up the wires.
Air Conditioning is a great that involves hard work. It can pay very well too.

Part 2 of the of buying drainage rocks. ’s are a great way to relieve flooding. People will pay big money for it because it takes skill & hard labor. is a good non-college .
Using geometry to purchase drainage rocks (results of the math)
I have a tiny backyard on a townhouse with a drainage issue. Here I show the results from my earlier video on the geometry of building a drain.
