Inspired fashion design students respond to the Mint’s “Fashion Reimagined: 1700s to the Present”, curated by Annie Carlano, Senior Curator of Craft and Fashion Design.

Tara Davis, Woven founder and former Charlotte Art Institute fashion design educator, recently co-lead a delightful fashion chat with Fashion Consultant and Model Jennifer Michelle. Some of Davis’ students attended, and others came again to be inspired by the amazing designs.

Their visits were so inspiring that they created their own designs. Come see their creations.

A week ago we received devastating news and had to jump into action. When we learned we had to relocate, we knew the move was bigger than us. $50k bigger.

As of today we’ve received $3,120 from supporters who want to see Woven continue. Our students are working on their projects and Mrs Davis is still teaching.

We may have to move our location but our passion still resides with the students who seek to make a career in the fashion industry.

Here are a few of our upcoming events. We would love to see you there to say thank you in person and show our students their work matters.
