The National Weather Service is calling for high winds gusts, heavy and flooding rains. This could be dangerous for our staff, so out of caution ALL Bright Future Learning Centers will be closed tomorrow 1/9/2024.

Is my child eligible for MECK Pre-K?
To be eligible for MECK Pre-K, children must live in Mecklenburg County and turn four years old on or before August 31 of the school year they are applying for. Even if you have applied for and/or been waitlisted for child care subsidy or other pre-kindergarten programs, you are eligible for MECK Pre-K.

Why should I register my child for MECK Pre-K?

On Tuesday May 2, 2023 we launched a vision that’s been in our minds for years! Krystal Dukes, director of BFELC wanted to create a space for men. A space where men can receive the same resources women do to progress in life.
The comments from the men after Tuesday night really touched her heart 🥹
They received encouragement from the other men and they can’t wait for next month’s meeting.
** Please note no women were in this meeting. It is strictly led by men for men!
