Our Harding University High School Art Department, under the leadership of Ms. Nivens, spearheaded an awesome project for the Carolina Panthers Spirit Rocks! Art Contest!

Scholars created original designs, voted on their favorites, and brought the winning vision to life with this incredible football rock! 🔥

🏈 KEEP POUNDING! LET’S GO PANTHERS! 🐾

We’re proud of the creativity, collaboration, and student voice behind this project—and excited for the opportunity to earn Panthers Charities grant funding to support our Harding arts program! 🎨💰

If our rock advances to the public voting round, we’ll need the entire RAMILY to rally behind our artists and VOTE! 🐏❤️💛

🐏❤️💛 Ramily… it’s time!

Today, September 4, we honor the courage and legacy of Dorothy Counts-Scoggins, who on this day in 1957 became the first Black student admitted to Harding High School. At just 15 years old, her courageous walk into Harding became an enduring part of the history of school integration in Charlotte and across our nation.

69 years later, on this same day, we’re proud to celebrate another chapter in Harding history.

🎉🐏 Introducing the Harding University High School Alumni Association!

The Alumni Association is a new nonprofit organization formed in partnership with Harding University High School to reconnect generations of Rams, preserve and celebrate our history, support our scholars and school, and strengthen the Ramily for years to come.

We are especially honored that Ms. Dorothy Counts-Scoggins graciously served as the incorporator of this new organization. ❤️

And this is just the beginning! We need Rams from every generation to help build what comes next.

The Harding University High School Girls Basketball Program is opening the gym for basketball workouts beginning Saturday, September 5, 2026!

📅 When: Saturdays beginning September 5�⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM�📍 Where: Harding University High School Auxiliary Gym

Workouts are open to all Harding University High School female scholars, as well as female scholars from surrounding middle schools who are ready to work, compete, grow, and experience what Lady Rams Basketball is all about!

What an awesome way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year at Harding University High School!

This week, we welcomed 1,100+ Ram Scholars back to campus, built relationships, set expectations, launched into learning, held grade-level assemblies, distributed Chromebooks, spent time together in the Quad, and started laying the foundation for an incredible year ahead.

And what better way to finish Week 1 than with a RAMS FOOTBALL VICTORY! 🏈🔥🐏

A HUGE thank you to our 140+ incredible staff members, our scholars, families, and entire Harding community for bringing so much positive energy to our first week.

We are proud of the start — and even more excited about where we are going.

After an incredible first week of the 2026–2027 school year, our Harding Rams put the perfect exclamation point on it with our FIRST FOOTBALL WIN OF THE SEASON tonight against Garinger! 🏆💪🏾

So proud of our scholar-athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, staff, families, and RAM NATION for showing up and showing OUT tonight! The energy was incredible! ❤️💛
