Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause as a school community to remember and pray.

We remember those who were lost, honor the heroes who responded with courage and selflessness, and keep in our prayers all those whose lives were forever changed that day.

We ask God to comfort all those affected by the events of September 11.

May we always remember. ❤️🤍💙

We had a special visitor in one of our Kindergarten classes this week! Father Patrick, uncle of one of our Kindergarten Wildcats, stopped by to spend time with the students. They enjoyed meeting him and asking lots of questions.

Game night spirit starts early! 🐾🎉🏈❤️ We loved welcoming three former Wildcats, now Charlotte Catholic football players, back to St. Matthew today to help get everyone excited for tomorrow night’s game!

They greeted students during afternoon carpool, stopped by a few classrooms, visited with teachers and helped announce our two lucky 5th grade coin-toss winners. 🎉

Tomorrow night, it’s our turn to bring the Wildcat🐾🎉 spirit to the stands! Wear your St. Matthew spirit gear, bring the family and help us cheer on the Cougars! ❤️📣

Counting, colors and caterpillars! 🐛 Our TK students used UNO cards to practice counting and color identification while creating their own colorful caterpillars.

Who says vocabulary review can’t be fun? Our third graders had the best time playing Quizlet Live and showing what they know!
