LADIES NIGHT OUT!!!

Ladies! The incredible and I are hosting an evening you do not want to miss where we will talk about self-doubts and building real confidence.

We’ll cover anything from fear of failure, handling rejection, comparing ourselves to others, perfectionism, and more!

We will ultimately bring everything to the canvas and paint who we truly are – the AMAZING version of us!

We’ll have mocktails, some incredible conversations, fun and paint (even for those who can’t paint like me! 😅).

A few years ago, my oldest son was struggling in school and overall confidence... It showed up in his grades, overall well-being and social skills.

In all honesty, playing sports was helpful - as it gave him an outlet where he could shine a little but it wasn't enough.
I thought of hiring tutors etc... But it wasn't the real problem. He truly thought he was not good at school period and certain subjects.
So we worked on his confidence...

What happened in a few months showed me that anything can be changed...

His grades started improving from Cs/Ds to As/Bs consistently. I could see him more comfortable in his skin and relationships, smiling more, I saw his confidence and performance soar in sports too...
And no, we didn't do any tutoring - but he changed the way he looked at himself, his abilities, his skills - in a nutshell, his confidence.

Personally, I think that is the most important for any child, because everything else can be learned. If you believe you can learn or that you can do something, you will.

This feels deeply personal because as a mom I truly wondered what I did wrong for him to feel "not good enough" earlier on... It's hard to be a parent!

But that's also why I am starting to offer sessions for teens who have low confidence - whether it's to improve their grades, well-being, relationships with friends or family, or performance in sports...

In all seriousness, Lianne and I want to open up the space for women who are ready to release fear, comparison, perfectionism, and self-doubt.

We will start with an honest conversation, do some fun exercises to release those doubts and reconnect with our worth.

More importantly, we'll bring all of this to the canvas - creating a piece of art (YES LADIES! even for those of us who can't paint 😂) that honors every layer of our story.

On Thursday, I'll be hosting our last virtual session of Think and Grow Rich as I then will focus on hosting my in-person women's book club! (I may co-host a men's group later - more to come!)

Truly such a great book that I've read quite a few times and is filled with so many good principles and wisdom to create the results you want.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to chat with Melissa Taylor from Network Build Grow on the NBG podcast.

We had some candid conversations around the fact that as an introvert, I used to dread networking events. I felt like a fish out of water. We also talked about what helped me shift my mindset and approach and turn networking into one of my biggest source of growth - may it be from attending networking events or hosting my own...
We also talked about what it takes to grow and the identity work I had to do...

Top Takeaways from our chat:

1. Networking is not about you — The discomfort comes from self-focus; get curious about the other person and it stops being about how you're coming across.

2. Two or three real conversations is a successful event — Networking is relationship building, not a numbers game.

3. Your goals demand a new version of you — Bolder decisions, different choices, a different circle. Comfort destroys success.

4. Collaborate with different skill sets, look for people who bring value you can't. Ultimately it's about delivering products or services that have more value than you could have ever done alone...

How many times do you get to have an honest conversation with other women about those self-doubts that get the best of us, how to navigate rejection and how easy it is to fall into that comparison/perfectionism trap that keeps us feeling like we are never there or not enough?

That's exactly why Lianne Hofer and I feel so grateful to host this upcoming event.

Sometimes it’s the relationships you build. Lianne Hofer is not only an amazing human being - but she is also a TedX speaker and author.

Hello ladies!!!

I feel the nudge to start an in person book club (monthly) around books that I absolutely love and have made an impact on me.
We would dive together into multiple books that focus on growth, life's principles, "laws of success," identity and transformation, etc...

The purpose? Grow together - support each other - learn together and build a community.

I'm planning to make this free as long as I can find the right spot to host those, and maybe we can all bring a snack :)
