I met a new friend this week, Colette Kemp. She’s smart, funny, and also happens to be a new business broker. The day I met her she was giving a presentation to a bunch of brokers in khakis about how to use Chatgpt in their brokerage practice. Naturally, during the Q&A someone asked if this new technology was going to replace business brokers. My first reaction to their worry was, “Awe, how cute."

But that question has stuck with me all week. Of course not I thought, we’re irreplaceable! But should we be replaced?
