Hi, I’m Liping Yan — a Business Chinese Communication Coach and cross-cultural educator who’s passionate about helping Western professionals thrive in Chinese business environments. For over 11 years, I’ve been teaching Chinese as a second language in China, Thailand, and the U.S. I’ve worked with learners of all ages — from kindergarteners to university students —and through that journey, I’ve di

scovered my true passion: empowering professionals to communicate with clarity, confidence, and cultural intelligence. I hold:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language
- A Master’s in Applied Linguistics ( TESOL ) from the University of South Florida (USA)
- And a Master’s in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from China

In 2021, I transitioned from the classroom to the business world, joining a U.S. startup where I’ve worked in operations and leadership. That experience deepened my understanding of the real communication struggles that Western professionals face when doing business with China— and it inspired me to start this channel. My goal is simple:
To help you break through language barriers and cultural confusion, and build meaningful,
successful relationships in Chinese-speaking workplaces.
