On December 23rd, Lacy's Little Ones will permanently close to move on to new adventures. Our local Childcare Resources has provided a wonderful website to search for licensed childcare. You can even filter by zip code, price, hours, availability, and more. Please always do your research when finding care for your little ones!

In the wake of another NC death of a child at an unlicensed home daycare (with 26 kids!), this is a reminder to always check the status of the daycare you are interested in. It is still legal for someone to be a home daycare provider without a license, but they are limited to 2 full time children. Both these links can be used to confirm and see violations.

TEMPORARY FULL TIME OPENING AVAILABLE
From August 18th through December 23rd, Lacy's Little Ones will have a full time spot open (8am-5:30pm) for one child aged infant, one, or two years old. If you are on a waitlist somewhere else and need help bridging the gap, please send a message to set up an interview.

Happy 2025! While currently there are no openings, if you are pregnant and looking, it is time to start doing interviews and getting on waitlists. I will be doing interviews for the 2026 openings soon, so feel free to reach out. Or if you are looking for immediate care and I can't help you, I will be happy to give you some references for some who may have openings.

One spot will be available this fall for an infant or one year old. If you know someone who needs care, pass it along. Interviews will start soon.

Christmas is coming and the stockings are already full

During Fall Week and Weather Week the Little Ones have enjoyed lots of extra outdoors time with new toys in the beautiful Carolina weather. We played with "lightning" and messy "clouds" and everyone is settling nicely into a routine. Looking forward to a fun and busy October!

It was a full house here this week during Colors Week! Except for Thursday, we had lots of extra outside time during the morning and afternoon each day in this beautiful weather.

It was Health Week! Painting with toothbrushes, lots of learning about healthy food and activities, and some really cool science projects I was too involved with to take pictures of. We also welcomed a new friend this week with another coming Monday.
