The final stretch of the school year is where students either lock in their gains or coast and forget. With about three weeks left in Charlotte and Gaston schools, here is what helps your child finish strong:
Keep the routine. Even when teachers ease up, hold the homework hour. Consistency beats cramming.
Review with them, not for them. Ask "what did your brain learn today?" instead of "did you do your homework?" The first question keeps them in the driver's seat.
Read 20 minutes a day, no exceptions. Reading is the one habit that protects every other subject through summer.
Small wins now compound into a confident start in August. π
