Good evening Oakdale families,
Today, the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction announced that Oakdale Elementary School has earned a School Performance Grade of “C.” This is a milestone achievement for our community, marking the first time in our school’s history that Oakdale has reached this level of academic standing. We have officially shed the “low-performing” label and established a new baseline of excellence.
Along with our “C” rating, Oakdale achieved several exceptional growth milestones:
    •    Exceeded Goal 1 for K–2 Literacy
    •    Exceeded Goal 2 for Grades 3–5 College & Career Readiness (CCR)
    •    Exceeded EVAAS Expected Growth with a growth index of 4.97%
    •    Improved Overall Performance with a 10.4% increase, moving from a “D” to a “C”
These results prove that “C-ing is Believing!” Our community believed in our students, our staff committed to the work, and our scholars delivered. Oakdale will continue to soar to higher heights, and we are deeply grateful to our parents, families, volunteers, and community partners for your unwavering support.
