Growth doesn't end when a program does. It shows up in how leaders protect their time, trust their own style, and show up for their teams.

In this week's Friday Focus, Melissa Gehl and Lori Gunther reflect on the final meeting of the 2026 Advanced Nurse Leadership cohort. They look back on the goals participants set in their very first coaching session and how far each leader has come since. That includes blocking "freedom of mind" time on the calendar and realizing that great leadership isn't cookie-cutter. This cohort's journey shows what happens when learning, coaching, and community come together.

The ripple effect may be the most powerful part. When leaders invest in their own reflection and well-being, their teams feel it too.
